Venturing deeper into the mirror realm's Great Crystal Tree, the Vanguard plunged through a webbed floor into a subterranean chamber, encountering the Weaver—a grotesque entity wearing a forced white mask that parasitically fed on suspended druids. A brutal battle erupted as the Weaver created shadowy copies of party members, stitched shadows to the ground, and cast silence on the spellcasters. Despite the creature fully regenerating by absorbing the druids' lifeforce, the party systematically severed the web cocoons to cut off its healing. Transformed into an Emelynosaurus Rex via Naoki's Polymorph, Emelyne trapped the Weaver in her jaws, allowing Sanasha to drive her electric greataxe into its face and snap its neck.

With the parasite destroyed, the party unearthed treasure—gold, rose quartz, and a magical origami canoe—before Archfey Lady Vertioth reappeared. She revealed that the Weaver was part of a cosmic invasion led by entities from beyond the Veil, who were corrupting druidic groves across the realms. Vertioth bestowed three powerful artifacts upon the Vanguard: the Staff of Moonlit Dreams for Naoki (in exchange for his old staff), the Mantle of the Fractured Truth for Renatus, and the Marrow of the First Father wand for Emelyne. When Naoki lingered to ask if this realm was his true home, Vertioth cryptically replied that it was not. Returning to the waking grove via Vertioth’s portal, the party helped rouse the surviving druids alongside Astra—a star-clothed visitor who reconnected to the grove—leaving the Vanguard victorious but facing a far greater threat beyond the Veil.
