May 20 — Navbar, The Tavern & UI Polish

Quick turnaround from the last post. Most of this is polish and navigation work — things that needed to feel right before we start adding more pages.

Permanent Navbar

The navbar is now always visible regardless of auth state. Previously it only showed when you were logged in. The logo sits centered in the bar and overflows below it — 96px image in a 64px bar, so it floats above the page content with a spectral glow. Left side has Home, Communities, and Rules. Right side shows The Tavern, Player UI, and Admin links based on your roles, plus a Login or Sign Out button.

Login Flow

After signing in with Discord you now land in The Tavern instead of the staff dashboard. The login page heading was updated from "Staff Access" to "Welcome Back" since it's no longer a staff-only entry point.

Home Page Community Cards

The four community cards (Undead Legion, Prestige Encounters, LichCraft, LSG Competitive) were redesigned from a tall stacked layout to a compact horizontal row — icon on the left, game label and community name next to it. All four cards in a row are always the same height regardless of how the text wraps.

Tavern Status Cards

The "View Clan", "View Server", and "Schedule" links on the Where You Dwell cards were moved from the bottom of the card to sit inline on the right side of the stat. Cleaner and more purposeful — the action is next to the data it belongs to.
