Sanasha Illuvistari is an orcish barbarian and a member of The Veiled Vanguard.
She hails from the Kingdom of Dorgenol and set out to adventure because of her adventure stories she read as a young girl. Her early adventures were nearly catastrophic, leading her to be taken in by a Hidden Grove of Druids. Now accepted amongst the groves, they sent her out to seek a wayard Druid. On the way, she connected to strange powers drawn from an ancient tree in another plane.
She uses the powers of the mythical Tree of Aeons to protect herself and her allies. She can manifest the etheral power of the tree to move or batter her enemies with attacks. She strives to be fiercely moral, offering advise to her allies even when it is unwanted and id deeply grieve by some of their worst offenses they commited since she joined the party. She seeks to be a grant Adventurer and regularly writes her own story in her journal, in the hopes of one day publishing the tale of her exploits.
Sanasha was born in the Capital city of the Kingdom of Dorgenol, Dorlthenyak. Her father is a famous Elven smith and artisan Donal Illuvistari, he is famous in the kindgom for his mastercrafts. He sells armour, jewelry and fine clothings to the nobility and wealthy of the Kingdom. He iis famous for blending elvish and orcish designs into his works. Her mother is an Orcish Wizard, a scholar in the local mages guild who teaches apprentices. Her mother is known as a bit of an introvert, preferring to study old tomes in depth in the hopes of developing new magical skills from lost lore.
As a girl, her mother would read her stories of adventures in lands far away. Her favorites were the stories of the Keepers in their Glory Days and the Seekers that fought on when they were destroyed. She would heaer fanciful stories of citiies floating in the clouds, and Elven Kingdoms locked in an Eternal war. Her mother would tell stories of a place where Orcs and Goblins lived brutal lives, fighting and kiling in the name of a dark god. But with all of these stories, she was fascinated about the story of a woman who crawled out of the ashes of the tribes and became a hero. Her namesake, Sanasha the Blood, who in the final days of the Adventures of the Seekers stood with Pudhak, Torrah and Mordecai before they joined the legendary party. Sanasha who fought with those who would become gods themselves in the depths of Ingiben as they came face to face with the Primordial of Fire. While she lived to fight another day, most of the party was teleported away. She was left on her own and too wounded to adventure on. This woman would stand in the face of the Tears of Toumas as magic failed and great powers fell. Sanasha the Bloody would help the refugees of a lost Celestial Kingdom, striving to survive in a land that was ravaged.
And so the young girl grew up loving the idea of adventure. While she was raised reading books, she never once swung an axe. Instead she swung hammers in her fathers workshop, worked fine artisan tools on wood and fabric. She would try her best to learn the ways of her parents, but failed to ever have a profiency with the magic her mother wielded with ease. She would grow as a fine apprentice for her father in his work, but never grew to love it. For many years, she would work hard to apppease both her beloved parentes, while they tried to shape her into something she could never be. She was too small for the Orcish men she courted, too large and muscular for the smaller boned elves and humans. Her dresses would bunch and tear, ill fitting on her muscular frame. She spent many years of her life, going through the motions entirely unfulfilled. Until one day, she walked into her fathers workshop and stole a masterwork elven greataxe they worked on together. She packed up a travel pack, and set off to be a hero in her own right.
Before Sanasha ever met the Veiled Vanguard, she set off alone from Dorlthenyak alone. But adventure isn't like the stories she read. She was beset with bandits and wild beasts, before she ever left the boundaries of her Kingdom. She lost most of her food and coin, gaining some minor wounds and managing to survive only through a mixture of pure luck and fear making her run before she was killed. When she finally reached the gates of her Kingdom, she entered the Xoraxan Wasteland to discover something truly dangerous. She survived another encounter with bandits, and only managed to survive an encounter with a purple wyrmm by hiding. After less than a week, she lay wounded and penniless in the dunes waiting to die. Only to find herself rescused by a wandering Druid, the human Liliana. The Druid Stanched her wounds with her uncanny magics, as Sanasha lost consciousness all she could tink of wasa those strong blue eyes.
Sanasha came back to the world in a Hidden Grove under the care of Liliana. The location of the Groves is unknown to anyone not welcomed by the Druids, protected by the outside influence of the gods by their founder Aspen. Her early days in the grove was spent inside the hut of her savior Liliana, being slowly nursed back to health. The wounds from the Wyrmm had left grievous scars on her body, with the help of the Druid she would slowly return to health. (more to come)...
As an outsider, Sanasha was tasked with hleping finding the lost druid Naoki. The leader of another Grove Zulkifli needed assistance from someone more familiar with the outside world to find the young man where he was last seen in Illnerya. Sanasha was the ideal candidate, and so she was kitted out for a new adventure by the Druids. She spent one last evening with Liliana, failing to summon the courage to express how she felt. They slept in their seperate beds, as she lay awake restlessly, afraid she wouldn't say what she needed to, afraid to leave her idealic life in the Grove.
In the morning, she was sent through portal through a tree that was intended to open outside of Illnerya. As she stepped in, everything went black. There was no world on the other side of the tree... time seemed to blurr and she lost consciousness. A moment later, she woke on the grass outside of the walls of the city. Thinking nothing of what happened, she marched on to Illnerya to set off on her task. As she investigated the city for signs of the Druid, she began to catch the first glimmers of the man and his new companions the Veiled Vanguard. (more to come)...
