Sanasha Illuvistari at first glance is a contradiction. She wears clothing made of fine fabrics in a utilitarian fashion based on the styles of the Kingdom of Dorgenol. Her garments appear modified for combat, with alterations made when the fine materials can't be repaired. Standing at 6'5", this tall orcish woman has softer features than most of her people, with longer elvish ears and smaller tusks. Her strong physique, marked by thick wired muscles and scars, shows she is a seasoned combatant. She carries a variety of tools indicating her skills as an artisan, but also bears a massive elven greataxe and a halberd strapped to her back. She was born into a life of comfort and privilege in the city of Dorlthenyak. Her father was a famous craftsman who worked on fine clothing and armor for the wealthy and nobility, and her mother was a mage working as a librarian and mentor in the College of Mages. Seeking a life of adventure, Sanasha left this luxury behind to follow the paths of legendary adventurers she read about as a girl. Since leaving home, she has been taken in by a hidden grove of Druids, where she began training to fight, beginning her first steps to becoming a Barbarian. She meets the Veiled Vanguard partway through their journey, tasked with finding the lost Druid Naoki. While searching for him, she begins to channel strange powers, connecting her to the mysterious Tree of Aeons. These abilities allow her to protect herself and her allies, and move her enemies by summoning the tree's spectral roots into this realm. Her only clue to this connection is a nightly dream where she wears another orc's face and suffocates in a field of stars. She uses these powers to protect her allies in the hope of becoming a hero in her own right. The Veiled Vanguard may be a path to great glory or doom, but she documents every step of the way so she can share her tale.
