Formatting Guide
Everything you can use when writing or editing a Minecraft Wiki article. Use the toolbar at the top of the editor to apply formatting — no markup required.
Headings
How to use
Click H2 or H3 in the toolbar to create section headings.
Major Section (H2)
Use H2 for main sections of an article.
Sub-section (H3)
Use H3 for sub-sections within a major section.
Text Formatting
How to use
Select text, then click B for bold or I for italic in the toolbar. Use the code button for inline code.
Bold for emphasis, italic for titles or flavour text, code for game terms or commands.
Lists
How to use
Click the list button in the toolbar to create a bullet list. Press Enter to add items, Tab to indent.

How to use
Type > at the start of a line to create a blockquote. Great for in-world quotes or flavour text.

Code Block
How to use
Use code blocks for stat blocks, initiative orders, or any monospaced information.

How to use
Type [[ anywhere in your article to open the article search. Start typing the article name, click to insert a live link.
The party confronted The Chancellor inside the Iron Court. Articles linked here will automatically appear in the "What links here" section of the target article.
Images
How to use
Click the image button (🖼) in the toolbar. Paste an image URL and an optional caption. Images from the CDN at cdn.avernix.com or imagedelivery.net are recommended.
Infobox
How to use
Click the infobox button (⊞) in the toolbar. Edit the title, add an optional image URL, and add key/value rows for stats. The infobox floats to the right of the article text on desktop.
