LichHeim Server Rules
All General Rules apply on the LichHeim server. The rules below govern life in the Tenth World. Jarls enforce these rules -- their decisions are final.
1. General Conduct & Authority
- 1
Respect the Realm
Toxicity, hate speech, and harassment have no place in the Tenth World. Keep the banter fun and respect your fellow Vikings.
- 2
The Word of the Jarls
Our moderators, the Jarls, and the server admin, the Valdr, maintain order in the realm. If a Jarl asks you to modify a build to save server performance or steps in to settle a dispute, their word is final.
- 3
Reporting Issues
If you suspect foul play, griefing, or exploit usage, do not start a flame war in the chat. Take a screenshot or clip and open a ticket in the Discord at lichsouls.com/discord.
2. Building & Land Management
- 4
Spawn Protection
Do not build any permanent structures, dig trenches, or place portals within immediate sight of the central spawn stones. Leave the sacrificial stones clear for new arrivals and trophy hanging.
- 5
Mind the Instance Limit
Massive terraforming -- like mining huge, unnatural trenches or raising massive pillars of earth -- heavily degrades server performance for everyone connected. Keep terrain modification to a minimum and build with the natural landscape instead of fighting it.
- 6
Claiming Land
Give your neighbors breathing room. Do not build right up against someone else's base, block their access to water, or claim massive tracts of unused land without explicit permission.
3. PvP, Wards & Thievery
- 7
Consensual PvP
Player vs. Player combat is strictly by mutual agreement. Do not toggle PvP on to trick, ambush, or execute players who are just trying to farm or build.
- 8
No Thievery
Stealing resources, gear, or food from another player's chests, smelters, or kilns is strictly prohibited. Treat unwarded boxes on a player's property as off-limits.
- 9
Ward Usage
Use Wards to protect your main bases and private storage. However, do not place Wards maliciously to lock other players out of their own structures, block public roads, or disrupt shared community hubs.
4. Progression & World Bosses
- 10
Environmental Awareness
Be mindful that players progress at different speeds. Do not drag high-tier mobs (like Trolls, Fuling raiding parties, or Abominations) into Meadows or near early-game player bases.
- 11
Community Boss Summons
While you are free to progress at your own pace, consider announcing major boss summons in the Discord. Defeating bosses triggers harder base raids for the entire server, so giving the community a heads-up to reinforce their bases is standard etiquette.
